So a few Saturdays ago, my friend and I were going to the Sauna across from here and we were hungry. They don't serve food inside the sauna anymore. So we came here with another Korean lady we met inside the sauna and the 3 of us sat together. I ordered the Samgyetang (chicken soup stuffed with rice, ginseng, date/jujube and garlic) and my friend wanted the Seolleongtang (beef noodle soup). Perfect with kimchi! I like the radish kimchi! Mmmm! The soups come out bland and are perfect for those under the weather or for those cold soup days. Add salt and pepper at your own discretion. I like to mix salt and pepper in a small dish and dip my chicken pieces in it and put it on a spoonful of rice and the soup. Yummy! Enjoy! Thank you guys!

$11.99 for sullongtang (updated prices across the board). very much a mom-and-pop shop inside the same building as the sauna, homey and tasty.

This place is a true hole in the wall. Owned by a mom and pop, along with a recent new hire that has been helping with both the front and back of the house. This place is known for their reasonably priced sullungtang - which is a beef / beef offals soup. Their kimchi (only two kinds - radish and Napa) are made in house and are delicious. They give you them in a bowl with some scissors and you can cut it yourself. You can take the juices and put it into your broth. I sometimes just buy a container of kimchi because it's different... unique and tasty and $8 for a container (styrofoam container) full of it.

This is place is very economical. If you like soup (tang) then this is a good option. You have to communicate any changes to your dish very clearly. I asked them for no onions on mine, but it still came with it. Not a huge deal. Service is very nice. Ban Chan is almost nonexistent. Just kimchi and radish cubes. But we appreciate how economical the dishes are. The same salungtang in our neck of the woods is probably twice the cost. I'm not a huge kimchi guy. But my kid really likes the kimchi here. It has a unique flavor to it. Says that I tastes sorta like the flavor packets in Shin Ramyun.

Food is good & had the authentic taste you crave for. Service is pleasant & the place is simple and clean.

Inside the plaza by the spa I'm so glad I tried it it's really really good! I was also blow away by the prices! I can't wait to come back to try more on the menu

This restaurant was a little hard for me to find. I thought it was on the street however; it's inside the spa area. I went here the other night with a few friends. I was debating between soup and the knife cut noodles. The waitress recommended the sulung tang as that is what most people order and that noodles take more time to digest. The soup was not bad. The only thing is I order it with all the types of meat, when I really don't like intestines. I would definitely get it again, but change the meat options. I loved that they have salt on the side for you to add the seasoning. It comes with two types of kimchi - the Napa and radish. They even give you scissors to cut the the kimchi. We picked this restaurant as the hours said it closed at 10, but the waitress said there hours weren't updated and they actually close at 9. She did let us sit there as she needed to clean up the kitchen for an hour. We just needed to close the check before 9.

Let me tell you, it's a soup lover's paradise! The cabbage and radish were terrific, especiall since the kimchi was freshlycut right in front of us. The soup arrived piping hot, and the meat was incredibly tender and bursting with flavor. We can't wait to go back for more.
